The mind is an awesome power. It is our responsibility to learn how to master it so that we cease being a victim of our thoughts and focus, and instead train it to become our ally.
The mind is an awesome power. It is our responsibility to learn how to master it so that we cease being a victim of our thoughts and focus, and instead train it to become our ally. How often are we fully present where we are right here and right now, verses being in our minds recalling the past with strong emotion, or fearing the future. We are actually using the beautiful gift of our imagination to harm ourselves when it is designed to create a life of love, vitality, and goodness for ourselves and others.
Neuroscience tells us that the intentional use of our imagination, in detail with all of our senses, sends the same neurochemicals through our body as if what we are imagining is actually occurring. This is why when two men were freed from captivity in the Vietnam war, one of them explained that his body's muscle tone was the first results of exercising - in his imagination.
Living in focus with directed thought, learning to not become captive to the many that pass through our mind every 24 hours, will enhance our quality of sleep, reduce overwhelm, allow openings for harmony in our relationships, bring forth clarity, and make the impossible - possible.
These skills that I teach literally saved my life more than once when serious injury and illness was present. I am convinced that learning to master our mind is the single most valuable skill one can learn and practice in this human existence. The time is now to begin. Join me.
