Peace is in the present. When challenges come, it's the skills that we learn and practice that will carry us through. Instead of pain, confusion, worry, stress, and fear, we can feel confident that by continuing to bring our mind back to the present we will experience more peace and less struggle.
It hasn't been easy for me, this life. I've experienced catastrophic events, natural disasters, all my grandparents dying young without knowing them well, and my Mother from the same disease. I've had several complicated injuries, and roamed a lot seeking where I might feel at home. I recall a statement by Brene Brown about not looking for how we don't fit in, because we'll surely find it. I've been solo most of my life after a difficult long-term partnership from which I had to create an escape plan to survive. What does it take to live a challenging life with no apparent security? It takes openness, resilience, and skill. And one of those skills is to hold the big picture of a future, while dwelling in the present. Mastering the mind with right positioning to our thoughts is the most valuable skill we can ever learn and practice, and it is the one and only skill that I teach to every one of my clients.
Learning how to have right relationship to the mind will not only transform a life powerfully, it will save a life. This saved my life more than once, and then from survival to thriving. If your life needs saving, if you feel that you have more potential that's not being actualized, if you know that you need to change counterproductive behaviors or are consumed by fear, let's schedule your free consult. I've just posted the biggest sale on rates ever, because we deserve to have the peace of living in the present with the skill to have control over our mind.
