In the end, just three things matter: How well we have lived. How well we have loved. How well we have learned to let go.

Letting go can be a strong intention and still a tough job especially when longing to release trauma. I love the science behind Brain Spotting, a modality that I use with clients. Brain Spotting enlists the direct connection between the visual field and the mid brain where frozen time capsules of trauma are held, thus allowing them to be processed and released at very deep levels.
Brain Spotting gives access to the trauma in a way that we know talking and ideas do not access, because it's a different location in the brain. The self scanning and healing mode of the brain can do it's job exquisitely in the midbrain. Brain spotting has been found to release even more deeply layered trauma than EMDR. Sometimes using them both in a weaving together will enhance a more complete healing, as I sometimes do with specific clients.
